2/9 Mon. 노트북 고장 나서 상담 전화

W: Hello and thank you for calling SS. How can I help you?

M: I have a problem with my laptop computer.
W: Okay. What’s the problem?

M: I bought one of your laptop computer about three weeks ago.

M: But it just isn’t running right. 작동이 잘 되지 않습니다.

M: It always freezes. freeze - froze - frozen (시스템 고장으로 화면이) 동결되다, 멈추다.

W: I think the laptop computer is infected with spyware. is infected with~에 감염되다.

- computer gets infected with a virus.

@ 당최 이해가 안돼요 “I can’t figure out what’s going on.”

2/10 Tue. 푸쉬업 몇 번 해?

W: How many push-ups can you do?

M: I can do 100 push-ups at a time. at a time 한 번에, 한꺼번에

W: Wow. I do weight training but I can only do five push-ups at a time.

W: What others sports do you like?

M: I like tennis, swimming, jogging, running and things like that . things like that 뭐 그런 거 좋아해

W: You are such an athletic person.

@ 나도 운동 좋아하지만, 그 만큼은 못해. I am passionate about fitness ATM(at the moment), but no that much! passionate 욕정을 느끼는;격정적인, 열정적인, 열렬한

@ 다른 운동은 뭐 좋아해? Anything else you could do?

2/11 Wed. 어디서 본 사람과 만났을 때

W: Hi. Haven’t we met before? You look so familiar. 전에 어디서 뵙지 않았나요? 낯이 익어요.

M: Yes. We met on campus 2 weeks ago.

W: I’m really sorry but I’m terrible with names. 미안하지만, 내가 이름을 잘 못 외워요.

W: You’re Sam right?

M: You got it.

M: And what was your name?

W: It’s Jennifer, but everyone call me Jen.

@ 이 길이 낯설다. “I’m not familar with this road.” = “I’m not good at this road.”

@ M: Hi, have we met? W: I don’t think so.

   M: You look really familar though. M: Which university are you from?

   W: I’m from Columbia University. M: Wait, did you take Jame’s economics class last semester?

   W: Yep! You were in his class too? M: Yes. I’m Rachel by the way. What’s your name?

2/12 Thu.

M: What’s your major?

W: I haven’t decide yet. 아직 정하지 않았어요.

M: That’s what happend to me in my freshman year. 나도 대학교 1학년 때 그랬어.

W: So what year are you in school?

M: I’m a senior.

@ Freshman: 신입생, Sophomore: 2학년생, Junior: 3학년생, Senior: 4학년생

2/13 Fri. 영화 보고 싶어.

W: I want to go to the movies.

M: A movie today?

M: Well, let me see. Here’s movie that starts in the aftenoon at 4:20.

M: Should we take James with us? James도 데려갈까?

W: Yes.

M: Okay, we have to wait for him because he’s at a meeting right now.

W: Okay.

2/14 Sat.

M: How was your weekend?

W: Umm.. Just so so.

M: Didn’t you tell me you would go to Central park or something?

W: Yes, I did. But you know, things don’t always turn out the way you plan.  turn out (일/진행) 되다.ㅈ

하지만 일이라는 게 늘 계획대로 되지는 않잖아.
W: I didn’t even get out of my room. 내 방에서 나오지도 않았어.

W: So, tell me about your weekend?

M: It was pretty good. I have fun at the wedding reception. wedding reception 결혼 피로연

@ I thought you were hanging out Central Park maybe?

@ 나 완전히 녹초 됐어. I am exhausted.

@ 빈둥거렸잖아. I was goofing aroud.

2/15 Sun. 지갑을 잃어버렸어.

M: I think I’m in trouble. 문제가 생긴 것 같아.

W: What happened?

M: I think I lost my wallet.

W: Where do you think you lost it?

M: I think I left it at the restaurant.

W: Then go back to the restuaruant, and see if it’s there.
M: I will.

W: Did you have much cash in it? 현금이 많이 들어 있었어?

M: No, I had only about 10 dollars, But the problem is my ID card.

@ 분실물/유실물 센터 lost and found.

@ M: I lost my wallet on the bus. Has anyone found it?

   W: What does it look like?

   M: It is a black color and it has two pocketes with zipper.

   W: Unfortunately. No one has found it at the moment.
